Conversion steps

  1. 01

    Prepare the source file

    Keep a copy of the original PNG file. Check that it opens and that you have permission to process it.

  2. 02

    Use the corresponding engine

    Install Potrace on your device, then replace the input and output paths in the example. The command runs locally.

  3. 03

    Check the output

    Open the SVG file in a compatible app and check the content, pagination, and resources.

Compatibility

Bitmap transfer SVG requires a description of the path, not a change in the extension name. The existing image tool uses SVG as an input and does not directly generate the profile path; this provides a local black and white contour process.

Examples of local commands

command only the local path you specify. Please install the corresponding tool first and avoid overlaying the original file.
