PNG and JPG: transparency and quality
PNG preserves transparency and suits icons and screenshots. JPG has no transparency; Formatio fills transparent areas with white when exporting JPG. Choose PNG or WEBP to retain a transparent background.
Scanned PDF to Word: text versus layout
A text PDF contains a readable text layer; a scanned PDF mainly contains images. The extractor reads text layers first, uses OCR where necessary, and combines readable text.
CSV and Excel: retaining fields and data
The first CSV row supplies field names. CSV-to-JSON requires unique names and rejects rows wider than the header to avoid silently dropping columns. Commas and line breaks inside quoted cells are preserved.
Web and desktop engines: choosing a workflow
The web app can reflow text from DOCX, slides and spreadsheets into PDF; this is not original Office layout rendering. For complex layouts use the bundled desktop Office engine, then check fonts, charts and pagination.
