Conversion steps

  1. 01

    Prepare the source file

    Keep a copy of the original PDF file. Check that it opens and that you have permission to process it.

  2. 02

    Use the corresponding engine

    Reads files using HWP/HWPX writeers and selects HWP exports; the current Formatio does not provide direct conversion of this step.

  3. 03

    Check the output

    Open the HWP file in a compatible app and check the content, pagination, and resources.

Compatibility

The current text extractor exports DOCX, but does not include HWP writeers. DoCX is extracted from PDF and stored in an editor compatible with HWP; text extraction does not restore the original layout.
