Conversion steps

  1. 01

    Prepare the source file

    Keep a copy of the original DOCX file. Check that it opens and that you have permission to process it.

  2. 02

    Use the corresponding engine

    Reads the file using HWP writer and selects HWP export; the current Formatio does not provide direct conversion of this step.

  3. 03

    Check the output

    Open the HWP file in a compatible app and check the content, pagination, and resources.

Compatibility

The current Office converter does not write HWP. Please use compatible HWP editor to import DOCX and save it; the layout capacity of the old HWP is not fully consistent with DOCX.
